Downey Osborne is partnering with a leading international law firm in Dublin to appoint a Tax Manager to join its growing advisory team. This role will suit a Chartered Tax Advisor with strong experience in corporate and international tax, looking to work on high-quality, complex transactional matters within a top-tier legal environment.

About You
Chartered Tax Advisor (or equivalent tax qualification)
Approximately 2 to 5 years’ experience in corporate tax or advisory
Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax with international exposure
Experience in transactional tax work including M&A or restructurings
Strong communication skills with client-facing experience
Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Support corporate restructurings, acquisitions and cross-border transactions
Engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders on technical matters

Advise on M&A, IPO and investment structuring work within a legal services environment
Support private equity, corporate tax planning and transfer pricing projects
Contribute to structured finance and cross-border advisory matters

Assist with tax controversy and Revenue engagements
Work on real estate and asset finance related tax matters
Contribute to internal technical development and knowledge sharing

Work purely on compliance without advisory exposure
