An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment, gaining strong exposure across a varied finance function while enjoying flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

About You
Previous bookkeeping experience within a professional services environment desirable
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
About Your New Role
Always
Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly and year-end financial information
Assist with VAT returns and audit preparation
Support the wider finance team with reporting and analysis
Often
Manage billing and invoicing processes
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up where required
Assist with preparation of financial reports and annual accounts support schedules
Occasionally
Process employee expenses and petty cash
Support process improvement initiatives and training activities
Never
Work endless overtime just to keep on top of the basics
