Downey Osborne is working with a well-established organisation operating across multiple sectors, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services to its clients. Due to continued growth, the business is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join its busy and collaborative finance team.

About You
A minimum of 1 year’s experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience working in a fast-paced finance environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Motivated to build a long-term career in finance

Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
Maintain up-to-date supplier records
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
Assist with payment runs

Support month-end activities and reporting
Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers
Contribute to process improvements within the finance function
Occasionally
Assist with ad hoc finance duties as required

Work without support within a team-oriented finance function
