About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)

  • 3+ years post-qualification experience in practice (preferred)

  • Strong technical knowledge across accounting and Irish taxation

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships independently

  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Confident communicator with good interpersonal ability

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work

  • Comfortable managing a varied workload across multiple clients

About Your New Role

Always

  • Manage a portfolio of accounting and tax clients end-to-end

  • Prepare personal and corporate tax returns across varied client types

  • Deliver high-quality client assignments within agreed deadlines

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

  • Oversee day-to-day workflow for allocated clients

Often

  • Supervise and support junior team members

  • Review work prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Support consultancy and advisory assignments

  • Assist with scheduling and allocation of client work within the team

  • Identify opportunities to improve client service delivery

Occasionally

  • Lead more complex advisory or consultancy projects

  • Support internal training and development of junior staff

  • Attend client meetings for more technical or strategic discussions

Never

  • Allow deadlines to drift without clear communication and planning

  • Try to microwave a fork again
