About You:
Newly qualified Chartered Accountant, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
Strong general practice experience across accounts preparation, tax compliance and audit
Confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships
Organised, commercially aware and committed to continuous development
About Your New Role:
Always:
Preparing statutory financial statements for a varied SME client base
Completing and reviewing corporation and personal tax returns
Supporting audit assignments from planning to completion
Managing compliance deadlines across accounts, tax and audit work
Maintaining strong, proactive client relationships
Often:
Assisting clients with business queries and providing practical financial advice
Supporting and mentoring trainees, reviewing work and offering guidance
Attending client meetings and contributing to planning discussions
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value
Occasionally:
Leading smaller audit engagements
Supporting advisory projects such as forecasting or due diligence work
Attending CPD sessions and internal technical training
Never:
Working excessive hours without recognition
Never responsible for negotiating peace treaties with the office printer
