This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take a senior role within a fast-paced environment, managing a portfolio of client payrolls while acting as a key point of contact for clients and providing technical expertise across payroll tax matters.

About You
5+ years' experience in a similar payroll position
Previous experience within a payroll bureau or professional services environment preferred
Strong technical knowledge of PAYE, including BIK, and PRSI
Familiarity with ROS and EFT processes
IPASS qualification preferred
Experience with Quantum, EuropayX or Sage Micropay advantageous
Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Confident managing multiple deadlines and client requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
Curious about technology and how AI can improve payroll processes
About Your New Role
Always:
Manage the end-to-end processing of payrolls for a portfolio of clients
Oversee weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll runs
Coordinate the preparation and review of payroll data
Ensure payroll documentation and statutory records are accurate and complete
Act as a key point of contact for client payroll queries
Provide technical guidance on payroll tax matters
Ensure payrolls are delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines
Often:
Manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
Deal with queries relating to payroll, benefits and employee taxation
Review payroll processes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
Support the wider Employment Tax Team with technical payroll matters
Use Excel and Microsoft Office to analyse and manage payroll information
Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery
Occasionally:
Support wider payroll and employment tax projects
Provide guidance and support to colleagues within the payroll team
Contribute to the development and growth of the wider payroll function
Explore new technology and AI tools that could improve payroll processes
Never:
Be expected to compromise on accuracy, compliance or confidentiality.
Be expected to calculate payroll for a herd of cows.
