About You

You will ideally be:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with at least three years’ post-qualification experience

  • Proven experience in a senior finance position within a commercially driven environment

  • Comfortable working in a growth-focused setting where financial strategy, commercial insight, and operational oversight are all essential.

  • Strong analytically, with the ability to translate data into insight that drives performance

  • Adept at influencing senior leaders and collaborating effectively across commercial, marketing, and operational teams.

Your New Role

Always

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and full P&L ownership for the business

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including board packs and investor-level insight

  • Strengthen financial controls, processes, and systems across all functions

  • Oversee compliance, tax obligations, audits, and external reporting requirements

  • Partner closely with senior leadership to guide profitable growth across retail, online, and wholesale channels

  • Lead pricing, margin management, and commercial KPI reporting

  • Build financial models and evaluate new business cases, product launches, and expansion initiatives

Often

  • Represent finance in conversations with banks, advisors, and other external stakeholders

  • Provide commercial recommendations that shape strategy and support continued international expansion

  • Contribute to financial modelling and analysis for potential acquisitions or strategic investments

  • Work with marketing and operational teams to align financial targets with commercial plans

Occasionally

  • Support cross-functional strategic projects that drive operational efficiency or new revenue opportunities

  • Review mid-period performance indicators to ensure targets remain on track

  • Assist with system upgrades or enhancements that improve reporting capability

Never

  • Be limited to routine tasks; this position is influential, commercially focused, and pivotal to the organisation’s growth.
