About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ finance experience; at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity

  • Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and finance systems

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

About Your Role

Always

  • Maintain and manage the general ledger, including fixed assets

  • Prepare journals, accruals, and adjustments

  • Manage bank reconciliations and purchase ledger processes

  • Support monthly balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards

Often

  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and monitor monthly performance

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings

  • Liaise with internal departments for accurate financial data

  • Identify and implement process improvements

Occasionally

  • Support external audits and information requests

  • Guide and mentor junior finance team members

  • Contribute to finance projects as required

Never

  • Compromise on accuracy or compliance

  • Start a conga line randomly in the office
