Downey Osborne is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Finance Manager for their operations oversees. This role provides strategic oversight of the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, financial planning, and operational efficiency within a collaborative in-country management team.

About You
Third-level qualification in Accounting or Finance
At least 2 years post-qualification experience
Minimum 2 years industry experience
Proven experience managing financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills
Experience preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
Ability to monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively
Skilled in risk management and implementing internal controls
Strong leadership and team management capabilities in multi-stakeholder environments
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
About Your Role
Always
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions
Prepare and analyse financial reports, statements, and projections for management and stakeholders
Monitor cash flow and maintain rolling 3-month forecasts
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Manage and empower staff within the finance and business support teams
Often
Ensure accurate job costing and monthly variance analysis
Provide insights and recommendations to guide strategic decisions
Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders (banks, advisory firms, tax authorities)
Ensure compliance with financial reporting and tax regulations

Coordinate financial audits and liaise with external auditors
Support process improvements to enhance efficiency within finance operations
Contribute to risk management initiatives and internal control enhancements
