About You

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)

Strong experience in financial and management accounting

Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments

Experienced in managing small teams and liaising confidently with directors

About Your New Role

Always

• Prepare monthly management and statutory accounts

• Manage sales ledger, purchase ledger, nominal ledger, VAT, and payroll

• Maintain and document company assets

• Oversee bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and director payroll

• Lead and mentor the accounts team

Often

• Prepare budgets and forecasts

• Conduct stock takes and support inventory management

• Liaise with external auditors and advisers

• Support business planning and financial decision-making

Occasionally

• Assist with ad hoc financial projects as requested by directors

Never

• Work without accuracy or miss deadlines

• Attempt to balance the company accounts with Monopoly money
