About You

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Part-qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience

  • Strong IT skills and confidence using financial systems

  • Good analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly

  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Your Responsibilities

Always:

  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines

  • Support the production of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial records

  • Assist with VAT returns, payroll processing, and other statutory filings to ensure compliance

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis

Often:

  • Prepare financial reports for management, highlighting key trends and performance insights

  • Support analysis of margins, cash flow, and cost control to aid decision-making

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes within the finance function

  • Work with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with business activity

  • Assist with project accounting and cost tracking across the business

Occasionally:

  • Support the implementation of new systems or improvements to existing finance processes

  • Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and banks when required

  • Assist with financial planning for business initiatives and growth projects

  • Contribute to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from senior management

Never:

  • Park anywhere other than your free on-site space

  • Avoid dancing in the rain unless you feel like it
