Downey Osborne is partnering with a growing organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator. This role plays a key part in supporting the finance team, ensuring accurate processing of transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with reconciliations and month-end processes.

About You

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Confident using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively

About Your Role

Always

  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately

  • Support accounts payable and receivable activities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

  • Assist with reconciliations and month-end processes

  • Liaise with internal teams and suppliers as required

Often

  • Support improvements to finance processes and reporting

  • Provide assistance to colleagues across the finance team

  • Produce ad-hoc reports or financial summaries

Occasionally

  • Assist with other accounting or administrative tasks as required

  • Contribute to system or process updates

Never

  • Allow errors in financial records or reports

  • Fight a gorilla to secure invoice approvals.
