About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)

  • Practice experience within a general practice/accountancy firm environment

  • Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and Irish taxation

  • Confident managing client relationships independently

  • Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff is desirable

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal ability

  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to work

  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and client requirements

About Your New Role

Always

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industries

  • Prepare and review year-end accounts and financial statements

  • Prepare personal and corporate tax returns

  • Deliver assignments accurately and within agreed deadlines

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Provide day-to-day support and advice to clients

Often

  • Review work prepared by junior team members

  • Assist with training and mentoring junior staff

  • Support advisory and consultancy assignments

  • Liaise directly with clients regarding queries and deadlines

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and client service delivery

Occasionally

  • Attend client meetings and support business development activity

  • Assist with more complex tax or advisory projects

  • Contribute to internal process improvements and team initiatives

Never

  • Allow client service standards to slip

  • Try to melt butter in the microwave without removing the foil
