We’re representing a highly reputable client in the manufacturing sector who is seeking a experienced payroller to join their team.

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in payroll administration

• Strong IT skills, including payroll and HR systems

• Excellent analytical and organisational capabilities

• Clear, confident communication skills

• The ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Experience in the manufacturing industry (preferred but not essential)

Your Responsibilities

Always:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Work closely with the HR team on payroll-related queries and compliance

• Ensure statutory reporting and submissions are completed accurately

• Support the HR team with general administrative tasks

Often:

• Provide payroll insights and reports to management

• Collaborate with finance and operations teams on payroll-related matters

• Identify and implement process improvements

Occasionally:

• Support projects involving payroll and HR systems

• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies on payroll matters

Never:

• Miss the chance to share your ideas

• Attempt to teach a goldfish to play chess
