About You

We’re looking for someone who’s analytical and detail-driven who will thrive on solving problems, spotting trends, and adding value through meaningful financial insight.

  • Fully qualified accountant with hands-on experience in management accounts

  • High level of precision and a sharp eye for detail

  • Proven track record of working efficiently under pressure and meeting tight reporting deadlines

  • Strong communicator who builds positive working relationships across teams

  • Driven and resilient, thrives in dynamic and fast-moving environments

  • Tech-savvy with advanced Excel skills and confidence in financial systems

  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent internal support

Your Responsibilities

Always:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis

  • Carry out detailed cost analysis and provide insight into operational performance

  • Support budgeting and forecasting across departments

  • Ensure accurate product and inventory costing

Often:

  • Report on key financial metrics and highlight cost-saving opportunities

  • Liaise with department heads to investigate variances

  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly returns and compliance reporting

  • Assist in maintaining strong internal controls and conducting internal audits

Occasionally:

  • Get involved in strategic projects and system improvements

  • Support wider finance and business initiatives

  • Jump into ad-hoc analysis as required

Never:

  • Having to worry about going to the gym after work as there is a gym on site

  • Clean the office windows from a cherry picker
