Financial Accountant - Enniskillen - £40,000 - £60,000

About You

  • Open to both newly qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and experienced finance professionals with a strong track record.  

  • Demonstrate strong IT and financial systems skills (MS Excel essential)

  • Show resilience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Possess strong commercial awareness and business acumen

  • Be proactive, organised, and detail-focused

Your Responsibilities

Always:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and variance analysis

  • Complete HMRC returns (VAT, plastic tax etc.)

  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and prepare quarterly capex reports

  • Liaise with auditors, prepare schedules, and support the audit process

  • Ensure appropriate financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements

Often:

  • Provide management reports on profitability, KPIs, production, logistics, and costs

  • Support budgeting and forecasting, including preparation of financial models and projections

  • Monitor and report on performance against budget and forecast

  • Lead on inter-company recharges and working capital monitoring

  • Identify and implement process improvements in reporting and internal controls

Occasionally:

  • Contribute to the implementation of the new group accounting system

  • Support business managers on RDEC projects and liaise with tax advisors on compliance and planning

  • Assist in the evaluation and review of capital investment opportunities, including post-investment analysis

  • Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and technical developments

Never:

  • Miss opportunities to make improvements

  • Have to prune the hedges outside the office
