Finance Assistant- 6 Month FTC- Belfast - £25,000 - £30,000

About You

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English and/or studying towards an Accounting Qualification or part-qualified Accountant

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced finance team

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger

  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel and Word

  • Excellent numerical skills with high attention to detail

  • Able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

  • Team player with strong communication skills

Your Responsibilities

Always:

  • Maintain Purchase and Sales Ledgers

  • Raise purchase orders and communicate with suppliers

  • Complete bank reconciliations

  • Manage Credit Control

  • Support stock management

  • Help produce monthly management and financial reports

  • Provide general admin support to Senior Management and the team

Often:

  • Support payroll and reporting processes

  • Assist with budgets and forecasts

  • Work towards continuous improvement

Occasionally:

  • Complete other reasonable tasks as requested by Management

Never:

  • Park anywhere but your free on-site space

  • Stick a fork into a live electrical socket
