About You:
Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Experience in general practice, with a strong focus on accounts preparation and business advisory
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships
Motivated, commercially aware, and committed to continuous improvement
About Your New Role:
Always:
Preparing and reviewing financial statements for a broad range of SME clients
Managing client relationships, providing strategic insights and financial guidance
Overseeing the compliance process, including tax returns and audit planning where applicable
Often:
Offering tailored business advice, helping clients achieve financial and operational goals
Supporting junior staff, reviewing work and contributing to their development
Attending client meetings and contributing to broader business discussions
Occasionally:
Leading small audit engagements from planning to completion
Taking part in ad hoc projects such as due diligence assignments or systems reviews
Participating in training and CPD sessions to continue building your technical knowledge
Never:
Long hours with no reward
Cleaning the office microwave (probably)
