Accounts Assistant (FTC)- Ballymena Area - £27,500 -£30,000

They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join on a 12-month full-time contract, with the potential for permanency, to assist with day-to-day accounts and administrative processes.

About You:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounts or administrative role

  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Strong numerical skills and proficient in Excel

  • Self-motivated, accurate, and hardworking

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to learn; training will be provided where required

About Your New Role:

Always:

  • Handling telephone and reception duties professionally

  • Logging service jobs and closing them once engineers have attended

  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate manner

  • Supporting the finance and service teams with day-to-day tasks

Often:

  • Preparing invoices and sending account statements

  • Maintaining records and assisting with basic reporting

  • Coordinating with other team members to ensure smooth workflow

Occasionally:

  • Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

  • Supporting minor process improvements within the team

  • Assisting with general office duties to support the wider team

Never:

  • Working in isolation without team collaboration

  • Intercept a gorilla and lion fighting.
